|Working Title||Program Coordinator, Grad advisor & Internship Coordinator|
The department of Communication and Journalism is seeking to hire a program coordinator that will serve in many different capacities: the Graduate Advisor, Department Scheduler and Internship Coordinator.
Graduate Advisor-admissions of graduate student recruits, including scheduling interviews and travel, identifying funding sources for financial incentives (such as scholarships, teaching assistantships, etc.) coordinating Graduate Student Orientation. Will also be responsible for submitting all required Graduate Student documents to OGS office by appropriate deadlines. Will process comprehensive exams and graduation paperwork.
Scheduler- will serve as the lead for the department of Communication and Journalism as the scheduler entering new/deleting courses on a semester by semester basis.
Internship Coordinator responsible for all components associated with Internships. Will ensure proper documentation is properly filled out, will ensure students applying for Internships meet minimum requirements. Will establish and maintain Internship relationships with firms in the greater Albuquerque community. Will directly work with faculty mentors to make sure students are successfully meeting requirements.
Ambassador Coordinator- will serve as the liaison between C&J student Ambassadors and the greater Albuquerque High School community to schedule and coordinate presentations as a means of outreach and recruitment for future prospective C&J students.
Will serve as back up for the fiscal administration for the department, including but not limited to budgets, funding contracts and grants, payroll and purchasing, and reimbursements. Coordinate and serve as backup with all fiscal planning.

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
