Position Summary

Athletics Lobo Club currently seeks a temporary Development Coordinator to join their team. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Donor support and solicitation

· Donor tracking

· Assisting in Lobo Club events

· Collection calls

· Organizing and creating worksheets of donors

· Solicitation for gift and kind program

· Customer care

· Front desk support in the Lobo Club office

Assignment Details:

Days & Hours: Monday through Friday, hours up to 20.

Anticipated Start Date: TBD

Projected End Date: 3 months from assignment start date

Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee

UNMTemps provides staffing solutions to UNM departments requesting temporary employees as positions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent, for peak work periods, and for special events. As such, UNMTemps assignments/positions may end with little or no advance notice.

Conditions of Employment
  • This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the USUNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of institutional fundraising, promotional, and/or public affairs programs, methods, procedures, and techniques.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Records maintenance skills.
