Position Summary

Working within UNM Residence Life & Student Housing Business Operations Unit, the COORDINATOR, STUDENT HOUSING will

  • Coordinate Residence Hall Keys including developing processes, maintaining records, coordinating audits, tracking department key use, transitioning keys between academic year use and summer program use
  • Perform Access Control Functions including working in C-Cure 9000 access control software providing access for residents, guests, and staff, coordinating bulk and individual provisioning and de-provisioning, working with residents and staff to solve problems in conjunction with ISS-IT and UNM Lockshop
  • Support UNM’s Freshman Residency Requirement including serving as a contact point for freshmen, developing and delivering bulk communications, responding to student inquiries, working with students on problem solving, processing exception requests, preparing exception requests for committee review, following up with students to ensure compliance
  • Provide data, communication and reporting support including collecting, processing and reporting on data for various department activities, preparing and distributing reports, tracking and reporting on occupancy contacts, preparing internal department contact data, processing of data for distribution to other departments

  • This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the USUNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
