Job Description Summary

The Post Closer - Final Document Administrator supports mortgage related business strategies and main responsibility is the daily processing of incoming original recorded Security Instruments and Final Title Policies for delivery to our investors and monitoring outstanding final document reports from our investors and following up with our title agents for overdue documents.

The main goal of this position is to expeditiously process incoming final documents, keep the loan operating system updated with final document receipt and shipment dates, monitor both our final document reports generated from our LOS and Investor outstanding final document reports, and follow up with our title agents for overdue final documents to ensure timely delivery of all required final documents to our investors.

Job Details

We trust that as a Post Closer - Final Document Administrator you will: (responsibilities)

  • Receiving and logging in all final documents received each day
  • Preparing final document delivery coversheet for shipment to investors
  • Scanning final document packages to our LOS
  • Updating our loan operating system to show receipt and shipment of final documents
  • Following up with title agents for overdue final documents
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • No mortgage or title experience required
  • Excellent work ethic, high productivity and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing work assignments
  • Must possess a short learning curve related to integration of new skills and tasks
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
