Job Description

The purpose of this job is to manage compliance requirements for all company stores pertaining to environmental compliance standards and regulations thus allowing the company to deliver, store,and sell petroleum.

Essential Functions

  • Review documents related to state environmental compliance standards including inspection reviews, testing coordination, alarm resolutions, and state agency responses
  • Monitor Warren Rogers Associates fuel inventory exceptions and coordinate resolution process
  • Coordinate and monitor certified operator services and support for company-owned water well and wastewater treatment plant operations
  • Maintain tank registration documentation for new and existing tanks according to state agency inspection requirements
  • Coordinate fuel system testing and fuel quality programs for all tanks including follow up for resolution of failed tests
  • Code and track invoices, submit for approval, investigate and resolve inaccuracies, and respond to inquiries from Operations
  • Ensure the company remains in compliance with state and federal regulations while managing costs associated with compliance activity and minimizing operational interruptions
  • Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related scientific field preferred
  • Minimum one year experience related to environmental compliance regulations pertaining to fuel system operations and discharge permit monitoring required

Specialized Knowledge

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to fuel systems,water quality, and remediation preferred


  • Ability to multitask,manage multiple projects successfully,and ensure follow-through
  • Strong work ethic and fortitude to make the appropriate compliance driven decisions necessitating operational interruptions
  • Effective problem solving and situation analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Travel required less than 5%
  • Physical requirements and working conditions include general office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
