Job Overview

Serves as a representative of the Catering/Sales department and King & Rye Restaurant on property. Assists in coordinating with on-site banquet catered events and private event functions booked with King & Rye. Provides administrative support to the Catering and Sales team. Covers and promotes both properties and Restaurants on social media platforms and supports the restaurant operations as needed.

Introduces new and creative ways to reach audiences and creates digital marketing campaigns to include social and CMS. Is the copywriter for the hotel's website and blog platforms.

    - Run daily and weekly reports such as BEO's Packets, Banquet Change Logs, and Group Resumes

    - Serves as an on-site point of contact for social/group/restaurant private events

    - Walks banquet space to ensure details on BEO's match diagrams and set up

    - Qualifies private event leads for King & Rye on-site restaurant

    - Serves as a liaison while on site to group contacts for Catering and Banquet Managers

    - Creatively manages social media content, production, posting and online conversations across the hotels' and other Sage entities' social media channels including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, Pinterest, etc.
    - Maintain brand voice and build engagement amongst various social channels
    - Stay on top of social trends and engage new methods to capitalize on new marketing opportunities

    - Assist with updating the hotels' and other Sage entities' websites by editing and creating new content

    - Manage holiday and area events calendar on property websites


    - Create all content for email newsletters to the hotels' and other Sage entities' distribution lists.

    - Aid in the development of special offers and promotions for all campaigns

    - Assists with graphic design projects and website updates

    - Contributes to the hotel's overall sales effort by assisting guests as needed.
    - Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
    - Exhibits a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintains open communications with all co-workers for the best overall performance of Sage hotels.
